Cantharis

Cystitis and all other bladder symptoms with burning and/or stabbing pain before, after and during urination.

Also used for fast-acting and destructive inflammations. Violent burning pains, which are sometimes so bad that they can lead to aggressive behavior.

Constant urge to urinate, but you only get rid of a few drops at a time. The urine burns as if it were fire. It is painful to pee and in extreme cases there is blood in the urine.

The condition occurs abruptly and is violent. The pain cuts and burns. Urinary tract infections are more common in women than men. You should seek medical attention if your cystitis does not go away after 48 hours.

Cantharis is an important remedy for burns and scalds. It relieves the pain and the first raw soreness after burns. The patient has a strong thirst, but gets worse from drinking, especially cold drinks. The patient gets worse when touched.

In short: Used for severe cystitis with extreme burning pain, and where you can only pee a few drops of urine at a time.

Other helpful hints: Can also be used for jelly fish stings.
