Lycopodium patients always do their best and when you see them, you immediately think that they are in control of everything and that they are self-assured. But it is often a completely different story that hides behind a shiny facade. They often fight heroically against inferiority. They find it incredibly difficult to commit to a job or a relationship. They are often very charming outside the home, while at the same time they can be dictatorial at home, but it all boils down to a feeling of ‘always being no.2’.

Any kind of responsibility makes them nervous, even if they like to take responsibility. They hide it well and can deliver a speech to perfection despite the fact that they suffer from stage fright, which it is also used to treat. Often, performance anxiety comes with stomach upset, with a lot of flatulence and loud farts.

Another indicative symptom is a dry, irritating cough.

The symptoms are located on the right side of the body or move from right to left.

Lycopodium wants to both eat and drink hot. They get hungry but only eat a little at a time as they quickly feel full.

They are at their worst between 4-8pm.

Many of the things described here can lead to chronic disorders and are strongly marked in the digestive system.

In short: Intellectual but dominant. Right-sided symptoms. Aggravations between 4-8pm.

Other useful hints: Lycopodium often look older than they are. They also often have skin problems. Skin problems and digestive problems are treated really well together. Talk to a homeopath about this.
