Funny, loving and likeable people with high creativity, but unfortunately they are not so good at setting boundaries and they experience being exhausted by the problems of others. They are extroverted people with high energy who find life exciting and they may have a hard time keeping both feet on the ground.

They fear many things, incl. ghosts, darkness and are scared when alone but are easy to calm down again (until the next fear shows up). They are very nervous about their health, but when the doctor says they are not doing anything wrong they are immediately reassured.

Many of the symptoms treated with phos are characterised by dryness and a burning pain. This type of patient is often very ‘up and down’ in the sense that their blood sugar is hugely affected by forgetting a meal or by the depth of their emotions. Likewise they quickly recover again. They can become enormously tired and almost collapse but when they wake up, even after a short nap, they are rested.

Pain is experienced as burning. Phos cough is typically a dry cough, with a burning pain in the throat. There is also a tendency to bleed a lot and have bleeding that is hard to stop such as small sores, nosebleeds and of course in connection with menstruation. The blood is always completely bright red.

They love spicy food and ice cream. They become worse when the weather suddenly changes, if they forget a meal, and by lying on the left side.

In short: Open, but also full of fears. When they bleed, they bleed profusely.
